A brief overview of Fanto’s scoring rules for their season-long Fantasy Premier League contest
While the Official Fantasy Premier League game will be getting its fair share of attention as the new season gets under way, it’s worth pointing out that there are some other intriguing competitions available to fantasy football managers.
Fanto is one of them, with £1k up for grabs for the best performing manager over the course of the season.
There are no budgets to worry about on Fanto and managers get unlimited transfers in every game week, meaning that you can opt for a star-studded line-up throughout the course of the season. Scoring is fairly straightforward as illustrated below:
You are limited to a maximum of 2 players from each club and are required to select 11 players and upto 4 AutoSubs for each game round. Your squad must consist of 1 goalkeeper, between 3 and 5 defenders, 3 to 5 midfielders and 1 to 3 attackers. Once you set a formation for a gameweek, the ‘AutoSubs’ feature will only apply covering players from the same position, should they not take part.
The great thing about this competition format is that it really allows for you to take advantage of how difficult each sides’ fixtures are. Put simply, you can stack your back-line with players that have a great chance of securing clean sheets, while also going for the heavy hitters up top. For GW1 our Fanto line-up looks like this:
You are allowed to submit entries right up until the gameweek deadline which coincides with the first fixture of the game round.
Why not give Fanto a try?
